Standard for educational apps: Education, Motivation, Design, Convenience

• You cannot evaluate an app by number of downloads alone
• From educational purpose to entertaining elements, design, and convenience, we compare all four and use our own algorithm to determine an app’s ranking.

• We combine customer ratings and recommendations with social network viewpoints  to rank each app. Social network recommendations provide a more reliable rating system.
• This prevents irrelevant votes being included and guarantees reliability in an app rating system.

• Total (1000 pts) = Customer rating (500 pts) + Recommendations from social network reviewers (500 pts)
  (Each app  is given a different weighting according to how recently it was rated)
• Customer rating = Educational Value + Entertainment Value + Design + User Friendliness (Each one is given its own value ranking).
